CEO C. Kelly Cofer of The Retail Coach Speaks at Washington Gathering of Economic Development Professionals

C. Kelly Cofer, CEO of The Retail Coach, was the keynote speaker at the Washington Economic Development Association’s Spring/Summer Conference June 12 in Spokane, Washington.

The presentation focused on steps professionals can take to help expand the sales tax base in their communities. Other conference speakers included representatives from the City of Spokane, Export Finance Assistance Center of Washington, Innovate Washington and the Spokane International Airport.

“This was a great opportunity to meet with economic development professionals from around the State of Washington,” said Cofer. “We appreciate the opportunity to be a part of such a dynamic conference focused on providing members with the insight and ideas for success in their communities.”

The Washington Economic Development Association (WEDA) was formed in the fall of 2001 as an organization to serve economic development professionals in Washington. WEDA’s mission is to promote sound economic development policy and provide networking and training opportunities for its members. Membership consists of members from EDCs, cities, counties, state, federal, council of governments, banks, tourism and tribes.
